I first heard of them years ago when I was working as a receptionist at a home health agency. All of the nurses suggested them when I got sick. I actually rarely catch colds, but on the few times that I have started to catch a cold since I heard of Cold-eeze, I haven't gotten sick. They key is, you HAVE to start taking them at the first hint of getting a cold. You can't wait a day or two. My guess is that any Zinc + Vitamin C formula is at least helpful, if not as effective as Cold-eeze at stopping a cold. But I only have experience with Cold-eeze and I can say that for me, they are the cure for the common cold.
