Depending on who you ask, I was at the vanguard of the one-line spitting idiots that made the filters necessary. Understand this and you understand why PBeavr was so damn cranky with me. That being said, I don't think anyone understands anything here.

What the hell do you mean by that?

To borrow a quote:

"Just because someone doesn't understand you doesn't mean you're an artist."

There is a difference between not understanding and not agreeing.  I think the only way that people would not "understand", is if you are speaking a foreign language.  I can only hope that these are not real reasons people gave for leaving.

That shouldn't make any difference. If a person has something to say, they should say it, and if people don't understand, it could possibly be because they don't want to.

What a great reason to stay....let people get to know you some.

Sometimes this can be true with people that are passionate about their views because they are headstrong. What we must realize is that no matter how eloquently you explain things, not everyone will agree!!! Try to understand others, as they may not either be at the place you are or they just don't want to be!

This is the crybaby's approach to things.  We should all be strong enough to stand our ground without whining that "nobody agrees".

So... we all want to be understood but this is not always the case. Accept who you are and don't worry about changing those who do not want to be changed.
