 | hardrockfanatic (5) 07/15/2008 | I have read many of his reviews and even when I disagree with him, he backs it up by stating his reasons for rating things a certain way.

 | SilverFox (26) 07/05/2008 | Frank has a keen sense of humor that he uses often. He cracks me up with his funny witticisms. But he also is a gifted and intelligent reviewer who gets to the heart of the matter in a concise way. Very knowledgeable about music, especially rock, up there with Oscar, and about movies. One of RIA's better and most interesting reviewers, always worth a read.

 | lmorovan (12) 04/25/2008 | You certainly know what an opinion is, right? Furthermore, you know the difference between an opinion and a question, right. Your accusation that I claimed it is OK to kill mentally retarded people is plainly misleading and false. We were rating the issue of a mentally retarded person committing a violent crime, and I simply made a couple of questions. It take some effort to read that which is not written, I guess. Listen, I may be wrong on many issues, that doesn't make me offensive, or does it?
Your comment equates to the fact that it is O.K. to post a picture that is purposely offensive to me (and I have no doubt he posted it for me) and if I protest, then it is O.K. to divert the attention and bring up some of my reviews as a weapon to distract from the issue in discussion. And all this because?

 | TeresaG (29) 04/01/2008 | He is well respected by me ~ even though we have very different opinions on political and religious beliefs. He, while calling you out, is not really disrespectful, just blunt. I take no offense. He makes tons of good points and is a very articulate individual ~ which is why I trust him. We may not agree, but I do respect his opinion.

 | edt4 (99) 03/28/2008 | He's funny, has good taste in music, like me is a Robert Mitchum fan, has been blessed with a refreshingly common-sense take when it comes to the political realm, and an ability to make his point (or points) with civility and a mimimum of excess verbiage (something I myself find increasingly hard to do). A very solid and entertaining RIA contributor.

 | oscargamblesfro (76) 02/29/2008 | An excellent, versatile reviewer who I've always felt is an underrated one. Very strong music reviews, dabbles in sports once in a while, politics, current events, writes very solid movie commentary too. It's difficult to predict what Franks is going to write about next. I enjoy reading reviewers who can write very solid, informed remarks in one review and then turn around and write something absurd or humorous- while there are some very good reviewers who are serious most or all of the time, some of my favorites can be both at the same time. My goal for Franks is for him to turn into a lounge singer with a bad rug and a penchant for off key Billy Joel and Journey numbers up there in the frozen tundra...
