I have been a customer of RiverHeights Cleaners for several years, until recently. They became my cleaners of choice because they are considerably less-espensive than the big cleaners and they usually did acceptable work. However, when the company damaged my expensive, fairly-new suit, the owner refused to even attempt to resolve the matter. In fact, he just ignored and avoided me. I understand that no cleaners are perfect and mistakes are going to be made. But in this case, the owner did not act as a reputable business man and try to work with his repeat customer. I wear suits everyday at work and I cannot afford to entrust them to a company that doesn't stand behind thier service. I believe that RiverHeights Cleaners' equipment is old and is too rough on clothing. Also, RiverHeights Cleaners does not repair buttons when their press damages them. I switched to a more-expensive cleaners, and my clothes look much better. The money I saved by using RiverHeights Cleaners went down the drain when they ruined my suit. The bottom line is that I would never take my clothing there again.
