Randy Bachman was a good guitarist- not great but good- sometimes in bands with a lot of hits or big album sales the guitarist, like a Bachman or a Martin Barre in Tull's heyday of the late 60's, early 70's gets overshadowed. I read in a biography of Neil Young that Bachman was a big deal as a player in Winnipeg, when both were growing up there, back in the day, and that as a kid, Young looked up to him.I'm very sick of the tune, but it is a good riff and some of his work in The Guess Who was admirable. However, BTO always, at best, bored me greatly, and I despise that sort of meat and potatoes rock of the 70's.
