 | zuchinibut (36) 03/24/2008 | Update: I knew Georgetown would not make it that far in the tournament, but I was surprised that it was Davidson to knock them off. As stellar as Stephen Curry can be, I thought Georgetown should have destroyed DU with their bigs. Georgetown deserved to lose that game, since they didn't play all that well. 3/18/08 - Georgetown will be a favorite of many because of their famous basketball tradition and their recent success in the 2007 Tournament. However, I see them getting tripped up by the Badgers in the Sweet 16. Wisconsin plays a similar style of ball to Georgetown, and will definitely be ready for them. Hibbert will probably be the X-factor in that matchup, but I'm not sold that he can carry Georgetown on his back without another star like Jeff Green. While my prediction is Sweet 16, I wouldn't be surprised to see them head all the way to the Final Four. However, I just don't see that great of a run happening for them.

(OM)Very dangerous team with a good big man and good post players and several potent perimeter players who can play D.

 | magellan (153) 03/13/2008 | Georgetown is a formidable and has a shot to bring home the title. They've been quietly improving each week, and are currently playing at a very high level. Today's three point exhibition against Nova was frightening - they dominated a hot team in a game when Hibbert was held to 0 points. This is an extremely athletic, extremely smart, and extremely well coached team. They also have a dominating post player (usually) in Hibbert. This could be the Hoyas' year.

 | trebon1038 (62) 03/12/2008 | I'll give them the sweet sixteen...they are a decent team for sure but there are some other great teams out there too so Im not sure they will go all the way...of course look at George Mason last year....it could happen.
