You'd better get a grip! When you get as old as I, you run out of stories and you gotta repeat them!

Maybe it's just because I had to do this yesterday. Without getting into specifics, I had to take a few days off work to deal with a personal matter, making for a rather tiring few days. I rarely miss work, so everybody and their dog wanted to know every detail and how things were, etc. Unfortunately it's not like TV where someone comes back and everyone is gathered in the same room and the story is told once. I had to go over the same details, the same problems, and the same resolution 15 times. I found myself wanting to embellish on my own story just to make it more interesting for me. I appreciate their concern, but maybe I can just send out a memo next time.
