I was really impressed with ABCO. First impressions do not do them justice. Due to my football and volleyball refereeing I was unable to go check out the school prior to enrolling. I just spoke to them over the phone. The classes are small (more individual attention from the instructors) and since they also proctor the test that one has to pass to get certified they should know better than anyone else what needs to be learned to pass the test. Words can’t explain how excited I am about attending this school. I learned more this weekend than I did the whole time at Mount Sierra and I am sure when I am done it will surpass my education at LBCC. Just wanted to let you know that any other students that were looking for IT type education this is a hell of a school!

To say the least, I haven't had any trouble with the school so far. All the professors I had have been knowledgeable in their field. BUT you must be self motivated to do the work, ask question and be proactive towards your studies. I definitely give this school a thumbs up..Yes, they still have some kinks to work out in couple of departments, but they all have been pleasant and nice to work with…

I can't say enough good things about my experience at ABCO. The staff is helpful and my classes have been challenging and rewarding. I can't wait to graduate with my MCSA and apply it toward moving upward in my career.

There are lots of college grads that can't find work right now and I suppose they could blame their school as well. There are lots of people who didn't make it through school and I guess it could be the school's fault. But seriously - what is the difference between the people who graduate and have great jobs and the people who don't, you will be able to figure it out pretty quickly. There are no schools for these people who tend to overlook their own shortcomings and blame the school that will help them, unless they take responsibility themselves. A degree from Harvard isn't going to go out and get a job for you. You have to get up and do it yourself.

I did go through the training at ABCO. With it, I was able to get a really good job. Now here is what I did learn when going into the market. People want a college degree. I lucked out because I already had a BA on top of my training. If you are looking to go the route of certification, then go to this school.What I was able to learn from the school was how to work with all the different aspects of windows security, especially since they taught it in a actual lab set up within the classroom, so you not only learn from the book, but also experience the real world scenarios.That's my two cents on it.

I don't know, it's hard for me to take the word of people who quit in 3 months and then say the school is no good. It's pretty clear that self study, motivation, and application are necessary to get the most out of an accelerated course. If you can't do that, then you can only blame yourself. Of course you will start with entry level jobs (unless you already have years of experience). If you come out of a regular 4-year college they don't hand you a VP job - heck, they don't even help you find a job period. At least ABCO offers assistance in that area. My advice is, do your own research. Don't listen to those who apply themselves other than to their own education. Go to the school and ask hard questions, talk to current students who are actually IN class applying themselves, and then make your decision. The school is a recognized institution. That really doesn't come easy.

My fiancée and I are both enrolled in this class. No school can say 100% that you are going to get a job it’s unrealistic. i don’t feel worried about being ripped off and this school in willow brook has no reports against it in the BBB thing because I looked it up. I feel the money I spent is worth it.

As a teacher in a small high school, budget cuts have been hard on students. I applied for a grant and received federal funds to teach students how to build web pages. The problem was I didn’t know how to do it myself. ABCO technology was located five miles west of our campus. The instruction was excellent, classes were small, the teacher spent time with each student, and we built four web pages before graduation. I didn’t attempt the exam because my purpose was to teach the subject. Our classes began and they were a success. I want to thank Arif, Fatima, and the ABCO Technology staff for a job well done.

Words cannot express my personal appreciation to you and your staff for your fine hospitality and a most educationally profitable semestres. I was particularly impressed not only with the exceptional resources which you and your staff have at their disposal, but also what you have done with the resources in service to young people.

As a student at Abco Technology School it has been so much fun and informative. I didn't think that coming to this school would help me understand more about computer technology, but it has made me care more about a career

Mr Arif Sayed - Ms Fatima are a very good Instructors Ms Fatima has taught me all the knowledge I want to know. I like being in her class because she makes it fun and at the same time very interesting, she is very dedicated to her students and every time I have a question she is willing to answer.

All of the things I learn in this school I will try to perfect them. Some of the things I tried to do in this class were done with a lot of effort I know that practice makes perfect. instuctor Fatima has also thought me not to give up keep on trying and you will succeed in your career, on top of that she let me to make a repetition
of the courses until she let me grasp it clearly.

My experience at the school has been a good one. I have been taught a lot by Ms Fatima. What she has taught me has helped me out a lot . I felt that the program was very good and well worth my time. Thank you for the experience and everything that you have taught me.

My experience with ABCO technology has a been good. I'm currently enrolled in the MCSE courses offered by ABCO. I have completed three of the seven courses and tested/passed two of my exams (about to take my third test). ABCO Technology has provided me with the necessary in class training and out of class study materials needed to obtain my goal of MCSE certification. In addition, the out of class training ABCO has to offer to everyone for additional training (if needed) is greatly appreciated and another added bonus in helping me pass my exams. With ABCO's experienced instructor's, pass guarantee, and course material (to study at home), I'm confident I will obtain my goal.

I look forward to signing up for additional courses through ABCO Technology after obtaining my MCSE.

Fixing Computers
ABCO Technology was found by my friend. After 20 years working at the Post Office I had enough bull. They increased the postal route making me walk much further. ABCO said they could certified me for computer repair. The equipment was fine. It was the kind found in a real company. The stuff was not brand new, yet it was not real old. Everything worked and at times broke down. We got it fixed. My instructor was cool, he has a small shop. These posts about ABCO are not true. I passed the A+ exams on the first try. I don’t take tests very well so this was great. Right now I work part time for a small store fixing computers and this is Ok when we look at the bad economy. Some people have asked me to come to there homes and ABCO made this possible.

I was not happy with the level of training I received. I paid for one on one and I got one to book. My instructor read out of the book most of the time, and when they weren't doing that, they were leaving class to go talk on the phone or to show other student's around. It was really frustrating especially when I had questions and no one was around to answer them. The quality of the materials wasn't up to par, my book was from element k and when I looked it up, I had the instructors edition (not the student one) and it only cost 35 dollars, vs. the 100 they charged me.

I finished my class because I wanted to get as much information as possible, in the end, I didn't really learned anything and I feel I got jipped for 1200.

I don't recommend this school to anyone who is serious about learning!

I would definitely not recommend this school. I completed the Certified Internet Webmaster course which consisted of 8 classes. I agree with the other review because I also had a teacher who only read out of the book and clearly didnt understand the program. I decided just to go ahead at my own pace, but she couldnt even answer the questions I asked her about the program. There were however two really good teachers and the others were ok. On three separate occasions, class was cancelled, but they didnt tell me until I arrived. Luckily, my commute was only 40 minutes. I also had a lot of computer problems and had to switch workstations quite a few times. But I could have overlooked all of that if they would have helped me find a job like they said they were going to. Even when my 6-month course turned into a year-long adventure, the whole time I was thinking I would get work with my new knowledge. In the end, they didnt help me get work. I emailed my resume three times but they didnt even respond to say that they received it, not to mention actually forwarding it on to somebody who might have been hiring. In short, they will most likely say anything to get your money or to give you a false sense of security or hope.
