04/24/2008 | Thanks to the glorious sense of sight, zealots can now choose what to see and filter out offensive material that threatens their dogma. . .in the past, sight allowed them to see newborn infants before taking a sharp stone to their genitals. Eyes sure come in handy!

04/24/2008 | Stereo images are procesed by our brains to allow us to evaluate the distance from an object. Amazing how the brain processes the information. Colors are the most relevant feature of vision, and have a strong effect on our emotions, feelings and psyche. Shapes are intriguing also bu the amazing manner in which they are processed by our brains. But, what can be more wonderful than watching a peaceful sunset. And let's not forget: 90% of what we learn comes through our eyes. Wonderful sense.
