Alfred Hitchcock directed this film, and it had the usual Hitchcock flair, drama and brilliance. We could also consider this movie as an apocalpytic film.
To make a long story short, Tippi Hendren and Rod Taylor start a relationship and Tippi is visiting Rod's house up the coast of California, north of San Francisco.
Strange things start to happen as birds start attacking people. These incidents escalate and finally start resulting in human fatalities.
Eventually it gets so bad that Tippi, Rod, and members of Rod's family are trapped in the house with a horde of birds trying to get in and kill them. The humans have to make a last stand against the birds!
