This is great entertainment. People are going missing in the desert of New Mexico. Lo and behold, a race of mutant ants, grown huge because of the atomic bomb tests in the 1940's are eating people. The authorities react and wipe them out. But hold it. A couple of queens and males get away. One group lands on a boat. The resulting ants chomp up the crew, but the boat sinks. Goodbye ants.
The other groups goes, where else. to Los Angeles. This group gets a nest set up in the large storm drains and the authorities try to root them out. Good black and white fun!
