My views tend to match with the platform of the Democratic Party. I do think it is important to get the real story and not get information from a source that has party bias. I do believe Democrats have a big picture of what is going on than Republicans who vote on one or two issues often like Israel, Gun Rights, Abortion, Lower Taxes,etc; Democrats do not seem as open and informed as independents. Its my stereotyped opinion, and there are different kinds of minds and people in different parties.

This group is more and more in thrall to left of center interest groups. It appears to be headed for success in 2008 because of the weakness of the opposition. The question remains if the Democrats can snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

Some elements of this party seem to be doing their best to screw up their most certain shot at gaining the White House since Kennedy was shot.

The left fringe of this party overreaches- but at its core, the dems have been, historically and today, on the right side of major issues. They lose stars for (as the previous lister mentions) the bigger the election the stupider they seem to act. The party works/wins at the lower levels in recent years but has simply handed over the last two presidential elections with gaffes and mistakes.
