it's a decent dip, i would put it as my top 3 almost as good as grizzly. but grizzly and copenhagen is where it's at. it's a decent dip stays packed in your lip good. it's packing is not all that great. probably has to do with the can, but other than that its a good dip to expensive though..

If you like Skoal, and like Wintergreen, but find that regular Skoal WTG is "too weak", then here you go....

I just got some edge, for winter green I stick to Kodiak because I haited skoals old winter green. The truth is i don't think it packs as well as kodiak but thats ok. I am a snus man my self and I put the pinch in my upper lip no mater what i chew. I truly perfer the stronger snus products to amarican tobacco but its alot easyer to by a can of dip at the store then to order tobacco form sweaden when i need a dip. By the way, the stuff camel is calling snus is not vary good. order some good stuff and try it. I think any one who dips will like it. plus you don't have to spit so its easy to do it at work or any ware you like. all and all I think i will get edge again and I like it.

Skoal EDGE is just what i thought it was going to be. its a decent, dippable wintergreen with a bit more of a boost of nicotine. its a skoal product so the quality is going to be good. i rate the flavor good, packability good and priced fair. its no grizzly wintergreen but it contends.

First off I think people need to quit bashing on every kind of dip and saying its “pussy shit”. Dip what you want and if you don’t like others, then don’t use that product. Skoal Edge is by far my new favorite kind. I started spitting Skoal and have always loved their product. My Dad and all his buddies are Kodiak fans. I like Kodiak too. I think that it is always moist and has good flavor. Before Skoal came out with Edge I did not like their Wintergreen flavor. Since the product came out last year I haven't used anything else, other than Kodiak occasionally if I happened to run out. It is similar to Kodiak in the sense that is very moist and packs very well. Edge is by far my favorite brand of Skoal and far surpasses my preferences of other brands. For those of you who say that Skoal is "pussy shit," you need to expand your horizons further than the movie Joe Dirt. Think for yourself. If Skoal is “pussy shit,” then why has U.S. Smokeless been around longer than any other dip company? Yeah, Redman just recently started making dip and I agree they have been around for a long time but really, branch out and try what you like instead of being a “hard ass” and just saying that it sucks because you want to pay $2.00-$3.00 on Timberwolf and Grizzly. U.S. Smokeless makes Copenhagen, so wouldn’t you think that the two top shelf products they make would be quality. If not they would not charge that much. Another thing I would like to add, the tax on tobacco products is ridiculous. I live in Virginia and pay about $5.00 on a can of any U.S. Smokeless Tobacco. Write to your representatives in regards to high prices on tobacco, especially for those of you up north who pay that much. It’s not right that yall are being taken advantage of by unfair taxes. Not much bolder than the original Skoal Wintergreen and not much stronger nicotine wise.  Tastes exactly like Rooster, which costs as much for a 5 roll as one can of the edge.  Grizzly is the best bold wintergreen with much more buzz and is halkf the price.

Citrus Skoal is the way to go!

This stuff is ok. I have been dipping for a few years now and switched between Skoal mint and Cope Long cut. A friend of mine had a can of Edge so I gave it a try. It is really moiste, alot of flavor (to intense if you ask me) and did note a slight buzz with the dip. I keep a big dip in for hours at a time and EDGE did keep flavor for quite a while. I'm not a fan of the ULTRA wintergreen flavor, but i guess that's why it's called EDGE after all. In my opinion if you want a winter green stick with WOLF or Grizz, better price and better dip.

Got a full size tin free at Martinsville at the race a week ago, I dip only skoal, but i'm not a hardcore redneck and I dip the girly sutff, apple and citrus usally. But anyways got a tin of this for free at the race threw it in and it felt like my lip was on fire, and I got a good buzz mighty quick. It does last a long time and doesn't taste bad, I just need to use it more I think.

extremely fake flavor. smells and tastes like toothpaste. i like a hint of the natural tobacco flavor in my dip, and it is not found here. won't buy it again.

GREAT flavor!! Awesome kick at the beginning and a sweet mellow taste after about 10 minutes. Flavor lasts a good while too. I'm a citrus lover and got this to try it and was impressed. Good even for a non-wintergreen dipper like myself!

i started off on skoal citrus which really got me into it, then moved up the ladder into mint which is amazing. my buddy at school showed me skoal edge. a year later im yet to chew anything other than edge. its great, tastes great...as far as dip goes, and the buzz is like no other. that being said, a few of you are wondering about vanilla, unless u can stand drinking straight up vanilla like the kind u cook wth, do not try it. i hated it, just a pointer, to save cash save an empty tin, then buy edge and mint, split it 50/50 in the empty tin. tastes great, same great 'ol buzz.

it great. i chew skoal, cop, grizzle. but skoals my fav brand of chew. skoal edge is really good. got a strong part to it. its alote better than skoal wintergreen. skoal knows how to make chew. keep doing wat u doen.

good flavor, i wish i could taste the tobacco a little more. it does as previously stated seem to loose its texture after a short while, and not NEAR of enough buzz for me.

I tryd this one time after i ran out of my normal chew...i was house sitting for a couple and i saw it by the computar. i decieded to throw it in wondering why it was different than normal skoal wintergreen. i threw it in and realezed...it was pretty week no buzz what so ever not even in the slightest bit. but it did stick together very well and stayed in place wonderfully. I say if you like skoal and like wintergreen flavor (which i normally dont) this is th eone to get..its far better than skoal wintergreen.

yeah it's cheaper but might as well just stick to grizzly if you're looking for cheap. don't notice a stronger buzz just stronger wintergreen flavor than the original wintergreen skoal, but the tobacco turns to mush quick. i'll stick to the original wintergreen skoal for texture and a better tobacco flavor. also, i don't like the thwomp sound when packing in this can (not that it's a deciding factor).

Weak imitation of Kodiak

I have dipped strictly skoal mint and wint for the last 6 months so when i heard some more powerful dip that packs better was in the making i was excited for weeks. the first few lips were alright but i was expecting to be knocked off my ass by the buzz. as someone who dips a tin a day, i guess it was stupid to expect a great buzz, but it did get my buzzed for the first time in a while. after a few tins, i went back to mint, and i mean, dip is dip, so try the shit if you want.

I initially bought a can of this cause the Gook mart was out of Kodiak. I now buy this as my regular brand because 1) It easily Gutted when you cant spit and has all the flavor of Kodiak, actually a better variation of wintergreen if youu ask me ad I chewed kodiak for 10+ years. Skoal Edeg is the Ticket...

Kodiak changed there Kodiak Ice favor and really screwed it up, I changed to Skoal Edge, This stuff is great, don't you screw up to US Tobacco

when i dip i treat myself to the good stuff. i dont buy the left over garabage tobacco they couldnt use to make kodiak packed in a can called grizzly. i dont dip that longhorn trash that tastes like puke. i go for quality dip and spend the extra money and buy real dip. before skoal edge i wouldnt even look at anyother dip besides kodiak wintergreen. i saw some gas station had a promotion going for skoal edge and each can had a mark on it that said $2.00 off and the can looked really well built. so i thought i'd buy a can. than i thought what if i like it and i run out, than im screwed for the night because i get 2 dips per can of any flavored can of dip. so i bought 3 cans. and let me tell you. that night. i ate 2 cans. and the next morning i put half a can in my mouth and went back to the gas station and bought one of those cardboard rolls that the promotions or "2" pack sales come in. i gave my dad a couple cans and he loves edge now too while he's an avid cherry dipper. with skoal edge on the market, kodiak wintergreen has lost my business, but not to worry kodiak, i am also an avid kodiak ice dipper, as well as a skoal straight dipper, and copenhagen long cut dipper. over all, i go through about 2-3 cans a day. i know its alot of money when buying the quality dip not to mention the health factors but hey, as sick as this may sound, i'd rather get gum disease from the highest quality tobacco like skoal rather than get it from some can of trash like longhorn. i mean come on people. how can you even put these cheap brands in your mouth? ive tried them all and they all just flat out suck, and im not just talkin a little, im talkin they seriously suck alot. i wouldnt even dip if those cheap brands were my only choices. so anyways. i woke up like 15 minutes and threw in a half a can of skoal edge, checked my email and thought what the hell. i'd inform teh real dippers out there of the facts about the quality of this dip. once you try skoal edge, you will turn your back to every other wintergreen dip on the market and only look for skoal edge to satisfy your wintergreen craving. nice job skoal. great, smooth, nicotine packed, full flavored, rich, dark spit, throughout lasting hours with no harsh bite. another quality product, maybe the best yet put out by skoal. i like all skoal dips, apple, citrus, peach, etc. etc. etc. but only once and i mean once in a blue blue moon. i remain a faithful addict to skoal edge, kodiak ice, skoal straight, and copenhagen longcut, switching between those 4 favorites throughout my days. dont go cheap, go skoal edge.
