Hell of a fighter.

Hell of a bad commentator.

Although I would argue about Roy Jones Jr. degree of greatness as a fighter, he has one thing in common with almost all great fighters turned analyst, It's all about him. Good exfighters always seem to have a better handle on commentating. The great ones always bring it back to them, but I suppose that's what made them great. Jones irritaing habit of referring to himself in the third person gets on my nerves. The ability to fight does not automatically qualify someone to analyze or commentate.
