 | Limpin' Trenchfoot (16) 05/09/2008 | This album would fully deserve its reputation if only they'd stopped at Guns of Brixton. The subsequent tracks are, IMO, not worthy of being on the same album as the first 10. The good thing about the original double LP release is that you'd keep the first one and use the second as a place mat.

 | FranksWildYears (48) 03/27/2008 | Undeniably a great album and the band's masterpiece, but I personally think it's reputation is a little over-inflated. It's a great Rock album with some killer songs - London Calling, Clampdown, Rudie Can't Fail, Wrong 'Em Boyo, Train in Vain.... But for my money their first two albums, while lacking in signature songs, were more important in terms of defining the sound of Punk.
