A little dated. . .but still cheesy fun and quite a watershed film in Sci-fi lore. . .and Mark Hamill's facial scars didn't drag the production down. . .and that little monkey at Jabba's throne who laughed at everyone else's expense is still hilarious. . .

A must see for any one who enjoys a good story and seeing troopers defeated by teddy bears with sticks.

Like the others in this series, its a well made space-opera, and very entertaining. Despite the raucous calls of popular taste, however, there are lots of films I'd put ahead of it.

It had one of the more emotionally intense duels and a kick ass space battle. Princess Leia was also at her best in this one...

The last of the now legendary series, it is a mature, fascinating and well done completion of the galactic saga. The best possible special effects for the time it was produced, Lucas spared nothing in making this a masterpiece.
