05/21/2008 | I just saw this again. It is a movie that is so gentle about not so gentle topics in life. It tells a tale of a slice of American history through glimpses of how lives change and adapt through the trials and tribulations thrown at us. Storm and strife for sure. Tom Hanks is great in this role, a brave and genuine person with inner strength that surprises me still. I really enjoy this movie.

04/04/2008 | One of the most brilliant acting jobs in history. Tom Hanks is the only one who could have been Forrest Gump. Forrest Gump, although fictional, gave millions a sense of wonder and hope. He achieved the American Dream, 10 times over.
