Talk radio has an enormous impact, and it does not seem to be diminishing much. I am amazed how radio has so badly crippled television in the opinion making department. The old medium stands stall in certain areas!

Talk Radio is often overrun by right-wing radicals when I turn it on, while NPR is worth listening to, unless im listening to radicals for entertainment.

Personally, I find most talk radio, of whatever political stripe, to be similar to being stuck on a long bus-ride beside the person who used to beat me up for my English homework. There's no doubt of its political impact though. Alas
