It's not that hard to lose about 10 or 15 pounds. If I eat less, go on bike rides, and play more basketball for a few weeks, I'll lose the weight. The problem is keeping it off. I only have the willpower to keep up such a lifestyle for three or four weeks at a time, max.

Incredibally hard to do! As everyone knows its much easier to gain weight then to lose. Losing weight takes much dedication, and change in diet. As most things that taste good are high in fat and unhealthy for you. Once you stick to healthier diet and excercise at least 3 times a week, and start to notice results, it does motivate you to wanna keep losing weight, and its a good feeling. Also lay off the sodas, if you really wanna lose weight!

Yes, it's difficult because friends and family are always tempting you with food. But losing weight can be very exciting, and the end result is worth it.

I've been going to the gym and I gained five pounds. Why I couldn't throw on muscle like this before is a mystery.

You know, Ive never been skinny but at least when I was riding horses for a living I was fit. Now Im in my late 40's and gaining weight as Donovan said, is a lot easier than losing it. What's the deal?????

As I get older it's a lot easier to gain weight than lose it. You can eat one candy bar and then you have to run a marathon to lose the weight you gained from it.

Been there, done that.
