Elmer Fudd may have been one of the first pieces of liberal propaganda to be exposed to masses of Americans. He was the stereotypical dumb hunter, complete with speech impediment.

Elmer is one dence character but he is funny.  One of my favorite episodes is "design for leaving" where Daffy is a salesman and he sells Elmer this wall of buttons that eliminates household chores to do.  Like instead of having to wash dirty windows brick walls are built over them.  Elmer is always getting outsmarted by Bugs.

"What's Opera Doc" has to be one of Fudd's finest performances.

Elmer (the poor man) is just a simple-minded, good-intentioned little guy. He's just a hunter whose prey always outwits him. He's not mean -- he even cried when he thought he'd killed Bugs. A very funny character. I like the old cartoon, Wacky Wabbit -- where a VERY CHUBBY Elmer was trying to dig for gold, again outwitted by none other than Bugs Bunny!

Elmer Fudd is a loveable dolt. Hard not to laugh at Elmer and feel sorry for him all at once.

Not the most brightest hunter out there, Bugs always got the last laugh. My favorite cartoon is What's Opera, Doc? Kill the wabbit,Kill the wabbit, Kill the wabbit!

Elmer is not too bright. he is easily fooled. Loves to hunt rabbit and duck. It is hard not to like him. I even feel kind of sorry for him always getting fooled by Bugs.

I don't know anyone my age or older who can't picture Elmer Fudd in a gold viking outfit singing "Kill da wabbit, Kill Da Wabbit, KILL DA WABBIT!"!. I question how he finds the cross-dressing Bugs to be attractive . . . .

Elmer was a great character, even if he was always trying to kill Bugs.

Mr. Fudd could be a bit of a pain, but his bad luck against Bugs Bunny gave me some good laughs. I remember cracking up when my dad did his voice when I was a youngin. A funny character.

I remember I used to call him Elmer FUDGE when I was little... funny how I enjoy the cartoons more now as an adult, though. Well, Elmer is yet another of Bugs' foils, and probably the single character who has tried to kill Bugs Bunny the greatest number of times. Unlike Yosemite Sam, though, Elmer Fudd isn't really "evil"... he seems more like a little kid who always wanted to go hunting with his Dad. So sometimes you can actually wind up feeling sorry for him... but still, when you remember that he DOES, in fact, want to kill Bugs Bunny, you can get over it and simply laugh at his childishness.

HAHAHAHAHA, be vewy vewy quiet, I’m hunting wabbits HAHAHAHAHA. Wouldn’t shoot good ol Bugs if he had the chance because he knows his career would be over if he did.
