 | FranksWildYears (48) 04/09/2008 | Spielberg's finest film. He avoids the ham handed overdramatization and mawkish sugar coating that he brings to almost everything. Instead he tells a pretty good story from the point of view of an ordinary guy against a backdrop of extrodinary times. I saw the flick at an Imax and that first half hour depicting the landing on teh beaches of Normandy was draining.
