04/13/2008 | A pretty rotten thing to do to employees. like that business did not know they would be letting people go? the new job my husband has went through this a couple days ago. this well known business hired 57 employees last summer promising them a ten year contract. well two days ago this business calls in 47 of those employees and told them " sorry corporate has issued major permanant layoffs. you are done as of right now. clean out your desk." those poor people came into work thinking they had a job to be told with no notice what-so-ever they were unemployed. must say I am far more annoyed that we can be so cruel toward another person's life. Now we are scared out of our wits when my spouse will be given the same news. How can we treat each other like this and sleep at night.?

04/04/2008 | Our local Superpetz was feeling the crunch from the two local Pet Smarts.....On Monday they notified the employees and on Thursday morning locked the doors. Allen had been their store manager for as long as they were open and they conned him into taking his vacation then hitting him with the news upon his return. The groomer had been booked for a couple of weeks in advance and two of their employees are still looking for work. This wonderful closure occurred about 3 months ago.
