This is no different from when people buy, let's say a CD music compilation, and milk the "return-in-thirty-days-if-not-satisfied-for-full-refund" spiels by recording the music, then returning the CDs and saying they're "not satisfied" just to get free music. Well, it shouldn't hurt anyone who wants something badly enough to pay the price for it. Now, fork over the dough....

It does amaze me. . .because far too often the practice is tolerated. In my kingdom, the offenders will be flogged and forced to cook burgers in a bowling alley in some shitehole town from 7pm to 3am for one month.

I have a lot of friends in the restaurant business and this is a biggie. I send food back if it isn't right not to get out of paying for it, but to be sure my food is how I ordered it. People who eat what they can then complain for free food are just plain trying to get out of paying for it.
