Yes, Tim, baseball has scientific and elements of physics. . .yes Tim, baseball can be a cerebral sport. . .but T Mac has been trying for years to let you know just how much he understands about the game and at some point something gets lost in the process. . .He's not terrible- but he has no concept of the poetic timing of baseball- instead he treats every at-bat like a Space-Shuttle re-entry where every minute detail and mathematical calculation must be correct or millions of people will die. . .Tim, just try calling the game. Another complaint- many fans (including me) have had instances where we felt that Mac was clearly favoring one team over another.

His "dumb working on dumber" act got old a lot of seasons ago.

McCarver was a good catcher, but has more than a mere tendency to state the obvious and add in a very corny sense of humor. One doesn't have to even like Deion Sanders to appreciate the time that Sanders dumped a bucket of ice water on this goof.
