 | oscargamblesfro (76) 04/09/2008 | An elongated, reworked version of a tune originally from their eponymous debut album, this is a kind of brilliantly produced, LOUD synthesis of psychedelia, early heavy metal, and classical music with quotes from Bach's 'Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring" and another famous classical music thing that I forget the name of, but all those mushrooms in 'Fantasia" were dancing around to it, though I don't think Walt Disney was tripping when that was made, though some of these guys probably were when this was. One of the best songs about insanity, a first person account, simultaneously satirical and empathetic, from the point of view of a guy in a mental hospital. A 1970 masterpiece from "Shazam," their second album, and one of my all time favorites.
