Most people know the later stuff, but the early stuff was on Island in the UK-a truly fabulous label in the late 60's with bands like Spooky Tooth, Traffic, Nick Drake, early Jethro Tull, Blodwyn Pig, John Martyn, King Crimson, Free, and some Jamaican guy named Bob Marley among many others- probably one of the greatest periods of talent for a rock label ever. This band was brilliant at their best, and at their worst were merely bland and not awful.
