 | oscargamblesfro (81) 04/09/2008 | 3.5 An obscure but really pretty sad song- sort of vaguely similar to Eleanor Rigby in theme, kind of one about a lonely woman who's gone mad, from a nearly forgotten 60's band from Boston. Peter Rowan, who used to work with Bill Monroe and who was later in Seatrain, Old and in the Way, etc was in this band as was another bluegrass legend, guitarist/ mandolin player David Grisman, who went on to play with The Dead sometimes. Absolutely beautiful mandolin- Grisman was a great mandolin player who is perhaps best known for working on The Dead's 'Ripple."
