If anything, God for me is another childhood myth that I grew out of. The thought of it reminds me of a time when I believed so strongly in this supernatural omnipotent force.
The subsequent realization that it is a construct borne of a universal need of people to construct a higher order to put the vicissitudes of their day-to-day existence into a greater context was more depressing than anything else.
