The concept of moving seems to be very scary. It generally gives a picture of a day when everything goes wrong. But the day came when I really had to move. I had tried getting quotes from several other moving companies but my friend Zita Collette recommended Liberty Moving Group though she was never their customer. I was under the impression that movers only carry furniture but to my surprise I found my movers packing and loading my glassware’s, plants and several other delicate stuffs. They also transport automobiles. The move from New York to Florida was really Good.

I had a last minute move, and I went with them because the price was reasonable, and they were local. Big mistake. They were late on pick up and delivery, half my things were damaged, and boxes were missing. They charged like 4 times as much, and tried to settle with me at 2 times as much. None of the workers speak english. Cant understand them. I don't think their sales associates understand them, that's probably why my price was jacked up. Don't move with this company unless you want to waste your time and money. Seriously, you're better off paying a high price with a better company. These guys don't even own a truck. How sad. Now I see how all their bad reviews can to be. Resolved? Yeah right.

Worst company I've ever moved with. I've moved several times within this year due to my job, and always go with the same company, or move myself. I chose to move with these people becuase the price was extremely low, and they made it seem very realistic on the phone. They moved me from NY to VA, with a rented truck, and workers who couldn't speak english. In reality, they're a low life bunch of immigrants, wiht 2 girls working for them and a broker, maybe a new guy. (Specific huh?) Yup. Assholes. They don't even own a truck, pretty damn sad for a moving company. They swore on god they weren't brokers, and the day of my move they showed up with a Ryder Truck, trying to raise my price almost three times as much! I've moved way to much for someone to bullshit me. I hope no one ever moves with this company, and realizes all their good reviews were written by themselves, how sad. I'm 100 percent positive that everyone they moved were satisfied, unless they're freaking idiots.Pleae don't move with this company. Unless you want to get ripped off.

Almost the perfect move I wrote "almost" meaning it would be perfect if it was free but it wasn't. shady and his helper came to pick our furniture and boxes up on August 2nd in the morning and did a beautiful job packing the truck like a puzzle and drove straight to Miami FL with a few stops in between and arrived on August 7th early in the morning and unloaded the truck and to our disbelief the only casualty was 3 banged up boxes and a chipped dresser which we expected to have some damages and thank god they were very minor and he said that they would handle the damages. Overall these guys were great and Liberty Moving Group made the moving stress as minimal as humanly possible. they did a great job and I would reccomend them anytime

We did a last minute move and had trouble finding a qualified mover for an office. I called with only a few days before we needed to be in the new space. They carefully wrapped and packed all the office items. The pricing was reasonable. I have no complaints and will recommend.

I'm pleased with the ServiceIt just the way to thank the movers: I would like to express my sincerest appreciation to Liberty Moving Group for the manner in which I was treated, from the pleasant tone to the accuracy in the time estimate to the professionalism of the moving crew. They were fast, efficient, friendly and most of all careful with all of our belongings from beginning to end. You don't always get good service these days so when you do I feel it's only right to pass along my feeling of satisfaction. It's a strong recommendation

I am writing to express my gratitude for your professional and courteous service. Relocating is typically a challenging ordeal which can be made worse by incompetent or uncooperative serive personnel. I found working with you at the early stages of my relocation to be a complete pleasure. First of all, you overestimated the weight of my belongings thus saving me hundreds of dollars. Next, you worked with me over a few days to set a convenient date for drop off. Additionally, you made yourself available for questions throughout the actual relocation process. And finally, I found you to be professional, courteous and knowledgeable, always ready to answer questions fully and clearly. If I can ever be used as a reference, please feel free to call upon me.

I would like to thank you & your crew on an excellent job performance on my move early this year. The crew arrived bright and early in the morning. Your FORMAN did a walk -thru with me & explained how the crew was going to protect my furniture with blankets & bubble wrap. They started to work immediately & before I knew it everything was all packed. When we arrived at my new location, The forman did a walk-thru with me again & I showed him where all the furniture should be placed. The crew immediately started to work on re-assembling the bed & cabinets that they took apart. I was so pleased!Everything was put together like new.My office will be relocating in a few months & I will definitely recommend LIBERTY MOVING GROUP &its movers for the job.Your crew works expeditiously & really does "treat your custmores like your own:

Revital Gomez ---- Moving From: NY to GAI would like to thank Liberty Moving Group for all of the professional help that they provided towards myself as well as my family. At the time of my move from Brooklyn, NY, my family and I were going through financial problems due to my mother being in the hospital. I had to relocate to Atlanta, GA due to this situation on limited money. When Liberty contacted me, they were very willing to work with me and my financial situation. On the day of my move, the workers were terrific! They were very polite and handled all of my items with care, they even went out of their way to help me with a few things around the house that needed to be packed. Overall I would recommend Liberty Moving Group to anyone that will be moving if they are looking for a company that is not a fraud and is willing to work with you. Thank you again Liberty Moving Group... You Guys are GREAT!!

LIBERTY MOVING GROUP, located in Jersey City, New Jersey is the worst moving company there is. Do not use this company. They are a bunch of liars. They are not a moving company but some kind of broker. Not only the will change there quote on you (more than double in my case). Your stuff will be moving from warehouse to warehouse. In my case they delivered wet and ripped boxes, my sofa was destroyed. I had 7 missing boxes. I had to rent another truck to get my stuff in front of my new location because there driver woud not pull the truck in front of my house unless I cut a deal with him. When you try to contact them about your missing items they do not answer the phone. Stay away from those people.

Terrible Terrible company....the principal is posted on BBB as Charley something and I am not racist but how can you do business with a company that lies to the Better Business Bureau. This persons name is Shazly something...definitely middle eastern or it may be a middle eastern word for RIP OFF. If there is over 14 years of experience then why is this company rated with the BBB for less than 9 months with over 11 complaints. My advice is to STAY AWAY as far as possible.......Did anyone win the advertised car they had posted on their website. Once again another peice of bait to suck you in then get your HARD EARNED MONEY. This company is basically a broker with one local moving truck. Give them a call and ask to speak to Charley about sending some kind of ID with his name on it. I have a funny feeling that THEY WRITE THEIR OWN REVIEWS........besides, isn't Charley spelt CHARLIE. Thank God I did some research before I moved with these POTENTIAL SCAM ARTISTS.Sincerely,ALMOST TAKEN FOR A RIDE!!!!!!!I apologise...THIS COMPANY HAS BEEN WITH THE BBB FOR ONLY 2 months. ALREADY THERE ARE 11 COMPLAINTS. I do not think the BBB would LIE.THIEVES USUALLY CANNOT COVER THEIR TRACKS...well done BBB

WELL I CAN START OFF BY SAYING THAT THIS COMPANY WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL. THEY WERE HONEST WITH MY PRICE FROM THE VERY BEGINNING TO THE END, AND I THINK THAT IS VERY IMPORTANT WHEN CHOOSING AND SHOPPING FOR A MOVER. ALTHOUGH LIBERTY MOVERS PRICES WERE NOT THE CHEAPEST; I STILL TRUSTED THEM AND I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED BECAUSE I ALWAYS FEEL AS IF YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.

The most unprofessional people you will ever deal with. Liberty was very quick to male promises that they will not keep later. They gave me a very competitive price per cubic foot but when they showed up I was told that my things took us almost twice the cubic feet that was initially estimated-even though I had cut down my inventory. I was over charged by more than $1200 and the delivery came a week after it was promised. These people are complete scam artists. DO NOT USE.

President of Liberty Moving Group: HAYDEN SHIELDS use to work for Liberty Moving Group providing our customers with low rates just to make commission off of their jobs KNOWING that their price would double. HE WAS FIRED IN JULY AND HAS MADE NUMEROUS THREATS TO CLOSE DOWN THE COMPANY BECAUSE OF THIS SITUATION. ALL OF THESE REVIEWS HAVE BEEN POSTED BY HAYDEN SHIELDS, AND THESE ARE HIS CUSTOMERS THAT HE IS TALKING ABOUT AND THAT IS THE REASON WHY HE WAS FIRED!!

STAY AWAY....This is one of the worst companies ever....I am surprised they are not on the black list of www.movingscam.com. Everything is smooth in the sales department because you speak to actual americans but apparently as soon as your items are pick up, you are contacted by their "dispatch" who seem to be individuals with thick accents who are not too intelligent, all they seem to know is how to inflate your price. I have mad the neccesary complaints to the Department of Consumer Affairs of NJ and only then I have found out they have only one registered little truck. PROTECT YOURSELF. STAY AWAY FROM THESE THIEVES

LIARS of the First order. Take your business to BBB certified/trusted movers.... Classic BAIT & SWITCH OPERATION. While shopping around for inter-state movers, my wife found these scammers through vanlines.com, which supposedly lists trusted movers. The way these scammers work is by giving you an estimate when you contact them and provide them with a list of items that need to be moved. The process can be summarized as follows: a) you contact the sales of the scammers and they give you a quote based on the items you describe. Estimate is based on Cubic feet, volume of your belongings. The estimate is always low, no matter how accurately you describe your items. This is the BAIT. When you ask them for other charges that could be incurred, they very cooly & assuringly tell you that as long as the items you described are accurate, there will be no other hidden charges (LIES begin here). b) They charge you 10 cents in the invoice next to a line that states "No surprises and no hidden charges". God only knows why they need to charge you 10 cents to make that statement in the first place. We let it go thinking that we could trust that and it's a small price to pay for such a statement. But charging money to make that statement itself should have raised a RED flag. c)When providing an estimate, they do not inform you upfront that the packaging you as a customer do for your TV, Glass, Furniture etc, will not be accepted.. So inspite of your best efforts to pack your own goods properly, when the driver arrives to pick up your items, he'll inform you in an assertive tone that the only way they'll guarantee the safe delivery of your items is if they pack the items themselves... EXTORTION#1 begins here. each medium size box (3 cu. feet), ones that you can buy from Uhaul for $2.35 will cost you $50 from these scammers. At this point your cost is already 1.5 times the initial estimate. We were charged $300 for packing. Now you are in a tough spot, you either pay that money or they threaten to leave, which puts you in a murky situation as you've planned moving dates, just as i did and can't afford not to move on that day. You suck it up and pay thinking that these additional charges might be the last of it. BTW, This is when you realize for the first time that the sales people are shrewd LIARS.. d) Once your items are loaded in the truck.. NOTE This, only once they load the items, they give you the actual cubic feet of your items. This is derived out of thin air, the driver derives the new cubic feet number by eye balling the space occupied within the truck by your items. This measurement is by default higher than what you were told by the Sales, SWITCH #1 & EXTORTION #2. You have no option but to agree as your items are already loaded in the truck and on the moving day you are already stressed by handling all the logistics that go into the move. Our intial estimate was of 280 cubic feet based on the items described to sales (items were perfectly accurate). Final number was 350 cubic feet. the charge per cubic feet for our move was $3.8. e) In your contract, you state the date you would be ready to receive your items. This date is important to you, because that's when you'll be available to receive these items. But the dispatcher does not care about that date.. Liberty Moving group, sub-contracts the transportation to vanlines. The driver of vanlines, reached before we did in our case, and started harrassing us by calling us every two hours and threatening to leave with our items and drive off to California (his next destination) if we did not reach there soon. Fearing the worst, we completely changed our schedule and reached early. EXTORTION #3. the date on our contract was 16th of July. Driver arrived on 15th of July. f) Once we reached our destination. The driver informs us that the distance from the truck to the door was almost 375 feet. He states that first 75 feet are free each additional 75 feet after that first 75 is $100 extra. That's additional $350. This charge was NOT explained to us by the scamming sales, neither was it agreed upon in the contract. The driver once again threatened to leave with the items, if we did not pay the money. SWITCH #2 & EXTORTION #4. Secondly, they arrive in an 18 wheeler truck, which again they do not inform you when you hire them. If you live on a street where an 18 wheeler cannot fit, you'll be in a worst situation than we were as they'll charge you based on the distance from where the truck is parked to your door. The sales team is unreachable, once you hire the movers for your move. THe only person who you can contact is the Dispatcher. All our efforts to reason with the Dispatcher were fruitless. He was arrogant, indifferent, abusive at times & overall unprofessional. Our original estimate was $1064 for the move, we ended up paying $1980, two times what was informed to us initially based on ou
