 | zuchinibut (35) 04/20/2008 | Shredded cheese isn't necessary, but does make for a nice topping when it melts on top of a hot bowl of chili.

 | XAgent (27) 04/19/2008 | Cheese is usually a good addition to any dish and chili is no exception.

 | twansalem (36) 04/18/2008 | A good topping, but I can do without it. As far as chili toppings go, I think either saltine crackers or oyster crackers rank higher than shredded cheese.

 | LadyJesusFan777 (33) 04/17/2008 | Chili wouldn't be the same if I couldn't top it off with cheese.

 | Automatt (28) 04/17/2008 | Use sparingly as a topping right before serving. With diced onions! Yum...

 | irishgit (136) 04/17/2008 | In moderation and hard aged cheddar only.
Don't go getting those Jack cheeses and fancy pants furrin' cheeses near my bowl.

 | CanadaSucks (45) 04/17/2008 | I know, I know. . .technically this is a foul because you sprinkle it on top at the end. But I once made the mistake of putting Mozzerela (sp?) which was a stringy mess- stick with a solid cheddar. . .
