He already did that for 8 years. He was sitting on Dick...s' knee. Now he's just a plain dummy.

He's already pretty good at this. Regarding his fees on speaking appearances moving forward....I'd like to think that the past couple years since he said that he'd start booking speaking engagements post-presidency has secured his fate as a bit of a poison pill for most any event. I can't imagine that he's about to inspire much of anyone, and I doubt he has the ability to self-deprecate (or that he even knows what that means, or why he'd have to in order to be taken seriously). Let's hope he doesn't profit from the mess that he's leaving us with. That would be downright offensive.

Since what he will almost certainly do is go on speaking tours and command fees of tens or hundreds of thousands to do so, one could only hope for this choice instead

But, isn't he one, already?

Yeah, Dunham would be cool...
(as GWB) "So Jose, are you a LEGAL Mexican Jalapeno?" (apologies to Peanut)

Let Jeff Dunham have him. Imagine the conversations he could have with Jose Jalapeno and Achmed.
