A good all around player with several American League teams from 1912-1924, one of the early power hitters for the position and not bad with the glove. Pratt never hit many homers, but drove in lots of runs, including over 100 one year in the 1910's, when that was rare for players of any position. He hit .300 about five times, .288 lifetime- and the bulk of his career was still spent in the dead ball era, so that's pretty impressive. Pratt played with the St. Louis Browns, Yankees, Red Sox, and Tigers. His career wasn't very long, and he tended to play for bad clubs, so he's not well remembered today, but was good enough to have made All Star squads several times had those existed at that time.
