04/25/2008 | I don't like this. I think all of the buttons (helpful, funny, agree) should be used on a post by post basis. Just because a reviewer has posted (unintentionally) funny votes in the past doesn't mean all of their reviews should be marked funny. I see it as getting pretty close to harassment.

04/22/2008 | Definitely a poor reason to use the button. There are a few reviewers out there who do seem to get at least one funny vote for most of the reviews they write. This seems to indicate that there are probably a few reviewers out there who do give out funny votes simply because they dislike the other reviewer.

04/21/2008 | There are some people whose reviews you like who maybe you wouldn't like in real life and vice versa... there are a handful of people who I don't particularly care for and I wouldn't complain about that, because there are people who feel the same way about me, and that's just life I guess...

04/21/2008 | I don't think it's good to give any kind of a mark ("funny", "agree", or "helpful") based on a given reviewer and his/her popularity status. It should be given on the review itself.

04/21/2008 | I have had reviewers that didn't like me. They didn't rate me as funny; they cursed, mocked and wrote bad things on blogs about me. I'm feel sorry for them.

04/21/2008 | If I were funny and would get a clearly funny vote, I would be thankful. If I am serious and get a funny vote, I definitely believe my review expresses disagreement, not with my opinion, but with me. Especially when most (99%) of the funny votes are never accompanied by a comment to express the reason for it. Of course, the "offender" doesn't waht to give him/her self up by posting a comment.

04/21/2008 | that would be going back to junior high school. do not need that. If I am not thrilled with a reviewer, I still would not give them a funny. or back when they had a disagree button go down the line and give all disagrees. got better things to do with my time and I would like to think have grown up a bit.

04/21/2008 | There are only 2 reviewers on here that I would bother to say I don't like (as opposed to disagree with, or think is a nitwit, or hold divergent world views) so it doesn't come up. (And no, neither of them is particularly regular, and neither is among the Christian contingent)
Neither one of them is funny anyway.

04/21/2008 | It is probably best to know them face to face before you condem that person, a reviewer may not always tickle your fancy, I know I don't please everyone, and that is dandy, I don't care how many you have trusted, someone is not going to be impressed, and that is fine, way fine :)
