Owff. Nobody has been a Ranger fan longer than I have. I was at their first game ever in 1972, though I was so young I don't really remember many specifics. We are still clinging to three division titles in four years that came along a decade ago and even I have given up on phrases like "It's still early". The most recent big mistake was keeping John Hart as General Manager and letting Grady Fuson get away. This was done at the urging of Buck Showalter and Orel Hershiser. Showalter and Hershiser are both gone, so is John Hart, and Grady Fuson is with the Padres. You see what the Padres have done the last couple of years, and you see what the Rangers have done. It's tough being a baseball fan these days, but it's tougher if you root for the Rangers.
