The NBA Royals (now the Sacramento Kings) were dreadful to mediocre, the NFL Bengals have managed a Super Bowl appearance, but lead the league in police blotter appearances.

Only the Reds have had moments of glory, putting together what is arguably the greatest team in history in the mid-seventies and having other bursts of success.

Unfortunately, Cincinnati teams seem cursed by moronic owners who can't keep their mouth shut, and players with a prediliction for hand guns and liquor.
