Pretty dreadful. All I can really remember is that Astros players Enos Cabell and Bob Watson had cameos in this trash, and that William Devane, a sort of minor star of the 70's, was a poor replacement for the Matthau character- I'm fairly convinced that Devane, who really looked like a Kennedy, must have been an illegitimate kid of Joe Kennedy's.

The original film was a classic, but the sequels were, not surprisingly, terrible. In this abortion, which was minus most of the original cast, the nasty little tykes go to Houston to play an inning in the Astro-dome. Sickly cuteness ensues... Popcorn regurgitates.

Bad follow-up to the classic. . .Hollywood-whore-ish sequels aren't just a recent phenomenon, ya know. . .
