Im getting a element featherlight and Ive skated on tons of element skateboards and there great! If your a beginner get a heavier board so you can get the feel of it. Buy them online, City Beach (a skate shop) is a frikin rip off ,200 buck where you can get element completes for 140 bucks including postage and handling on Ebay. Perfect concave, great pop, awesome graphics and top quality wood, buy one!

dont get em you might like it as a beginer but once you get more experienced you reaize its a pice of heavy shit

i have skated 3 element boards, all of them were amazing, i have had to heliums, tim tim creatures of the night, a feather light OG board, and a darrell stanton dracula board they never broke and i do seven stairs and crap like that i recommend element for everybody

Elements are amazing. They have really good flip and pop. They're really light and they have amazing graphics. I use shape#14.

Element was my first deck, even though the pop wore out it was light and had excellent flip. Chipped a lot but pretty sturdy. So if your looking for a pro deck as a beginner get an element.

Ok most kids when they start skating immediately think of element as the company to get. When i first started skating element was my first board. I got a fiberlight and its was ok it never broke. @ years later i bought a helium shape #11 and it was the worst skateboard ever! Iv skated many other decks such as shortys zero mystery almost etc. I never land 1 tick on the element. Im skating a mullen og v4 7.5 impact and its the best thing ever! buy an almost!

they arnt terrible or anything but the pop sucks and its hella heavy. after 2 weeks i broke it on a bad landing from a 4 stair but it shouldnt of broken if it was a strong deck. element is overrated get a creature, real, girl, or chocolate deck.

Element decks are the shit. i had a helium bam savage deck but it broke in like a month so dont get a helium. but the fiberlights are super good long lasting and light with great pop. my bam lava lamp fiberlight lasted me about three and a half months. it only broke becuz i did a 540 flip off a ledge like 4 feet tall and landed in the middle. even after that it didnt break completely but it has a huge crack down the middle. i can still do tricks on it though. if you are picking a board to get element fiberlight are one of the best.

i really like element decks i love the pop and the easyness of it, i've had 2 and they're the weakest of the lot one fell in a river and the other i still have, it's a bam ghost deck and i really like it but the only problem is don't try feestyling on them the tail can break quite easilybut fantastic for begginners like me

fuckin had a twigs adn a fiberlight and a featherlight. not one fuckin snapped except when 1 got ran over. had that beautiful golden bam deck with the ribcage guitar its also in my skate vid{username ska8zilla on youtube} but i would definitly recommend only defualt is the nose is wider than the tail.not feelin it

My Element Deck Suck. I Have It For Like Two Weeks Before It Chipped And Then A Week Later It Broke. But Mine Was A Heliem Deck Which In The Construction They Took Two Inner Layers Of Ply Out To Make Them Light But Easier To Break. My Mate Had His For A Whole Year And After About 8 Months He Got Real Pissed And Desided He Wanted A New One So He Through It Around Until It Chipped And He Didn't Have Enough Money To Buy A New One Til After Christmas And He Got It For Christmas The Year Before That

Element decks Are really good. I learned to bs heel half cab heel and other tricks on a tave helium deck. I like shape type #2

all of you are a bunch of dumbasses, element decks are not heavy
ppl who actually worry about that shit is stupid, and dont even say anything about the concave, cuz the concaves have numbers on them, id say the best concave would be #9 or #11
so stop complaining about that stuff, element gives you alot of options, its not their fault youre a noob and dont know shit about skating
so yeah

element makes really good clothes but there boards are not the greatest they have pretty good pop but they dont have that good of concave they are not my favorite at all (if i had to get one i would get the featherlight design)

Element Skateboards:

Weight: Their really Heavy not joking if you were going to walk with this board then might as well use it to work out, the lightest you'll get out of it would probably Fiberlight(I think that's what it's called) or Helium but their not the lightses shit around honestly

Pop: Don't expect much out of it the pop isn't really that awesome at all it's alright for a while but the more you try ollies the less tail and height your going to get from it

Durability: They last depending on how you skate obviously but the wood is really weired and is hard to snap I tryed snapping mine half way putting it in the side walk and the piece of shit never snapped.

Control: Hard to flip if your starting in it and the concave flattens out as time goese by skating

Shape: their wide and that's what makes it only good for riding sometimes but for real skating it's not that good

The only thing I like about Element it has a few good skaters like Mike-V is probably the best one out of all of them and that would be it.

That's pretty much Everything but I wouldn't really reccomend this board

If you are going to get a element deck do not, i mean it, do not get a featherlight, in less than one month it chipped like you were putting it through a power saw. it was not fun riding the decks. Ive had my element for a month now and its awsome pop pretty good concave but it has chiped and peeled griptape pretty fast over all its pretty good but its allready statring to point and sharpen tail.

i get a shop board with exactly the same shape !!!
i have to say that it almost the best shape that i ever skate
i learned almost every tricks on it,my nollie gets much higher and my tricks more cleaner
i u want a good decks that good with a good pop and concave

i'm not sure about element i'v read the review and i'm uneasy i'v only been skatin 4 a couple weeks and this is my 2 board so i hope it's good i got it at 360 skate.com i got high hopes!

I'm not the biggest fan of Element Decks because of the shape, its very flat and looses what little concave it has after the first few seshes. The Element clothing isn't too bad though compared to the boards. So stick with Element Apparel, forget the boards.

never ever get an element. dey r 4 posers lik bam. they break real easy and dey only got good team cos dey r rich, dude, my friend got one and he cant land a kickflip wen he can land a tre on a zero thomas metal peace. i got one b4 him and it was soooo shit, i could 720 shuvit dbl kickflip (dbl 360 flip) on a wal mart board and i cant even fukin kickflip on an element section.

i have a element logo deck, and it is very strong. i have landed stair sets on it badly, and managed to not snap it. that's the best part though..... the nose and tail chip easily, and their is almost ZERO concave. the pop wasnt great to begin with, and got worse after the first week. the only thing good is that it hasnt snapped yet. im currently using it becuase my habitat snapped, and then my almost snapped( although the almost was amazing until it snapped) so all in all, i wouldnt sugest it, unless your a beginner, and want something to last. i hope this helped

i don't know why everyone is saying crap about them, I know alot of people who skate element and nothing else(not saying i agree), but i have an element and it's not bad, it's not anything special but they're not to expensive and they're durable so, ride one then talk the shit

they are bad boards but they have an AMAZING team awesome logo and awesome clothing they are good for beginers and shit like that but girl boards are the best!

Very fragile, mine broke the second day. Doesnt hold up at all, and could get you injured.

They are shitty to be honest. I had 1 and the pop sucked and it chipped in 2 weeks. It really sucked.

I was given whats said to be an element and it's pretty decent. For a beginer it works, pop is okay, it's pretty flat though, easily chips, pretty much as durable as a wal-mart board, actualy probably less and almsot as flat. Don't really recomend it, it's basicaly just a poser board that sells cuz thier team is amazing.

I love Element deck graphics but they aren't very durable, my friend ollied a 3 set and the tail just broke off :S. One of my other friends has some element bearings and i have to say they are BEAST at first i thought ok cool same as any other bearings really.. but then he put some speed cream in they are sick. 2 stars on the decks 4 stars on the bearings and hardware.

they last a long time i had mine for two years before it chiped before i got it i coundnt ollie but the first time on it i could. i have impact support deck from almost now and it wore down in a couple of weeks.

worst boards ever. should be wal-mart. gay graphics and no pop or concave. there is pop when u first get them but they get razor tail like shit. good team though.

bam board are good like the first week you get them but then they break down ( wheels fall of, trucks loosen). they suck because  u can't tighten the trucks up the get stay loose

Heavy Good For Beginners Though

my local skate-shoop owner is always ranting on about how these boards are made in china and how bad they are and shit and he's always like "I got some new bam shirts in I saved a couple for you boys" with a big smile on his face cos we all know that elements a fucking joke. Muska though, and huston, darreal and tave are fucking "a" but that doesnt make the boards any better but bam some how makes them worse
