04/29/2008 | A solid second baseman in the 20's and 30's, led the league in doubles one year and steals in another, and had over 100 RBI's in 1922, a year in which the Browns probably had their best all around squad, winning 93 games and they nearly beat out Lucifer's Children, I mean, the Yankees, losing out to them by one game for the pennant. Played with Detroit, the Red Sox, and The Braves later on, and managed the Red Sox for the bulk of the year during their absolute nadir in 1932.
