04/28/2008 | A powerless, .255 type of hitter in a big hitting era, who
nevertheless was their shortstop for quite a long time- about 10 years
in the late 1910's and 20's. Had a good reputation with the glove, but
made lots of errors. 2 for longevity. I've read that their field was very rocky, but
it's hard to see what the fuss was about, this guy was like the, say,
Felix Fermin of his era. The Browns would have even probably been
better off with Wally George at short..
