Offensive how exactly? I'm pretty certain if he sarcastically condemned the pacifistic tenets of Buddhism and mocked Buddha as a fat dead Asian, or was an overt homophobe and agreed wholeheartedly with Pat Robertson that 9/11 was God's vengeance against homosexuals, or a sexist, or ridiculed the unwillingness of Hindus to kill cows, or extolled Clarence Thomas and Condi Rice as "credits to their race", his name wouldn't be on this list, and neither would most of the other names appearing here. Obviously, Oscargamblesfro's name appears here because he's not one to subscribe to a fundamentalist herd mentality. Oscar is probably my personal favorite on the website-- highly intelligent, witty, good-hearted, erudite (his encyclopedic knowledge of music and sports is legendary: I read his comments on music, and will buy the CD of a group or artist I've never even heard of before strictly on his recommendation, and I've never been disappointed), occasionally acerbic but not abusive. Like Irishgit, he's not one to suffer fools gladly, but considering some of the low-rent, abusive fools that periodically make an appearance on the website, that surely can't be a bad thing. He's opinionated, but that covers 99.9% of the people making contributions here.
