Nicknamed as the Olympian. Was born in Athens. Circa: 495-429 BC. He is an educated man, and was born in a wealthy family. A pure Athenian citizen. It was said that, the temple that overlooks Athens was built by him under his orders. The temple was built by Iktinos and the Kallicrates. Pericles is a politician, and was later became a commander who ordered the warships. He also has this strange personality of not going to the dinner with other people incase they think that he was favoring them. His period was known as the golden age of Athens. On a ship, the helmsman...(probably a steering-person)...was frightened by an eclipse of the sun. Pericles held his cloak across the helmsman eyes, and asked him whether this was frightening him. "Of course not!" the rowman replied. "Then what is the difference between my cloak, and the solar eclipse, except that, an eclipse is caused by something bigger than my cloak...row the boat helmsman". He said to him.
Pericles is a funny man. He calls all the artists, musicians, thinkers, politicians, scientists and poets to come to Athens thinking that, this could be the nicest city, beautifully built by him to be, and attend the forum of politicians, scientists ideas talking points, and their exciting topics to listen to.
