Among my seven ex-wives religion have me nothing but trouble.  I had Buddhist, Baptist, Congregational, and others including a quasi-wiccan.

The power is indeed awesome and we all have access to it. But if we use it for our advantage, in the end, will work against us. We are supposed to be like rivers, not reservoirs.

This seems the primary motivation for a lot of very wealthy and powerful evangelists who shear their flocks like sheep.
