To and extent I agree with this. Im sure their ancestors will have some influence. I wouldnt say you MUST carry on the tradition. I think deep down people will believe what they wanna believe know matter what they are tought by parents/ancestors, especially after age 18 and on their own.

I have a couple of ministers in my background and have read the Bible cover to cover. However, being a minister has never had any appeal to me. Not my cup of tea.

For a time, until we grow up, we don't have much of a choice, but when we become aware of the importance of religion in the overall make up of a human being, then we do it willingly and with love and honor. Or we don't. A choice each must make one way or the other and which will have eternal consequences. I believe I made the right one and my eternity is secure.
