Sorry.  From the Old Testament to the insane ravings of Revelations to other monotheisms (and certainly those hilarious polytheistic gawds) one of man's strange infatuations with religion is the actual permission to destroy whilst enjoying the fantasy of being one of the chosen ones. . .Religion would gain more traction and evolve if it simply accepted its bloody history of turning 'others' into sausage en masse.

More gotcha stuff. Strange that nobody but LM and myself seem to have expressed any problems with this list. Moving along, I do believe than God gave some direction about killing people. How did that go... I think he told us NOT TO KILL. That seems to not have been considered when somewhat preposterous list was composed.

If you are a believer, you will not even think about it. The worse of the neighbor is a creation of God, and He loves him as much as He loves anyone and all. If you are not a believer, you will likely be held accountable both here and in the afterlife. Your choice.

It certainly gives some people an excuse to feel superior to their neighbor.
