Probably, but I wouldn't be too concerned with it. After all, there are people that post things that are real stupid and/ or crazy - like- "Ah have inconvertible proofs that that there David Crosby is really in the Tally Ban."

Only had 1 run in with Magellan so far. It was the list about Assassination of Obama or something. He should have removed the rating list instead of warning me that I was getting dangerously close for speaking of the oath I took when I joined the Marines. To Defend the Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic.

I remember once when I slammed someone, mercilessly, for relentlessly assaulting some of the reviewers over religious issues. My assault was more like a carpet-bombing and was left up over night by the administration for all to see. RIA had never seen anything like it.
But, does that create, or define an elite group with special privileges? I don't think so. Afterall, it wasn't me who got the royal treatment... ; )

I see "elite members" on this list, and I see "regular members" too. So what's the difference? I know I'm a regular, so I have that clear, but who are the elite?
Are there a bunch of Skull and Bones members, some Rockefellers, and the CEOs of Fortune 500 companies on here somewhere?

If regulars weren't given at least some benefit of the doubt, there would be no point in establishing profiles. I might not be remembering correctly here, but I think IJR got a couple of warnings before being told to drink the hemlock. New folks seem to be treated with great fairness, though. RIA has less of an insider bias than most any other opinion site I know, and that's a very good thing.

Well, you gotta define who the "elite" members are, first off. If you're talking about the regulars, I don't see how this is necessarily possible, considering the broad range of ideologies & personalities of those within that set. It's quite diverse around here.

I'm an elitist! I must have gone to a good school and not be ashamed of my moderate literacy!

Maybe it is, who knows? I know I can still count on being told to back off if I get out of line...

The top HOF members of RateItAll have privileges that regular members don't have. They can bend and violate rules with no consequences.
