 | nesher (9) 05/06/2008 | Even thou we carry with us the water purification pumps, everyone needs a minimum water supply, calculated from the distance to the nearest river or stream. We always choose trails and walk-in camps near the water, so pumps can be used for all consumption needs.

 | kamylienne (77) 05/05/2008 | Unless it's a trail with water accessible and you have purifying tablets, you need it. Actually, even if you did have the purifying tablets, it's still probably a better idea to have water with you just in case.
