I miss this cartoon, that seemed to rarely come on. Pink panther was cool. He didnt even speak. He was just a cool cat.

I can't really remember the cartoon, only the character appearing in the title sequence of the films. What was the deal with that co-brand anyhow? Did the cartoon come from the movie or vice versa?

Definately a classic in its original form.Funny,even sophisticated at times-and with a swingin,jazzy soundtrack instead of dialogue- Top Notch! A Cool Cat indeed.

The Pink Panther has to be the most original of the cartoon characters, and the one with the best theme music (composed by Henry Mancini). A cat of action, Pink never made a sound. Now that is acting.

I love the Pink Panther! I always wondered what was going to happen him next. I wasn't happy with the 80's version where he talked and they added the Rainbow Panthers (picture Pink as a teen). I also liked Inspector Cluseau as well as the Ant and The Arrdvark catoons.

Try as I might, I just could never warm up to the Pink Panther. He just never interested me. Maybe it was Mancini's music. . .plus, he never said anything, and why pink? Pink was never my favorite color. One positive was that he was not a violent character. He would get mad, but he was never malicious.
