05/07/2008 | Nicknamed after a WW1 general with the same surname,Alvin Crowder won 26 games one year and 24 another. A 20's/ 30's pitcher, mostly with this club. One of those guys who has a high ERA and gives up lots of walks and hits, but has a good record anyway.
