With very few exceptions, any Chicago material recorded before the untimely death of Terry Kath is the band's best work. With lead vocal and a guitar solo by Terry, this song is truly a prime example.

The First Record I ever Bought of Chicago, It's Still GREAT.

Their first top 10 hit in this country, a song from the second album. On the album, there are short tracks interspersed before they go back to this one- the single was edited. Pretty much a track that was representative of the kind of mainstream pop/rock that was popular around early 1970. It's not great, but unlike their later material, it sounds like they put some effort into this one, and Terry Kath does a good job singing it. 3.5
