Careful on reading the Word too literally or too figuratively. Either approach tries to put God into a box he will never fit into.

The Scripture is the infallible and authoritative Word of God, sufficient in itself to bring the knowledge of who God is and what His plan for mankind is. God is the author of the Bible and He needs no help or assistance in conveying His message to men.
